It is a garaged Texas car and has never seen snow or salt. The light interior has been a real plus during hot Texas summers. The air conditioning works so well that it makes my fingers ache if the vents are pointed at the steering wheel. I am the second owner, the car was traded for a new Audi. I upgraded the sound with a sophisticated system that includes separate Infinity Reference Series amps coupled with a Rockford Fosgate 360.2 signal processor http://www.crutchfield.com/S-4HnpFhT5x46/p_5753SIXTY2/Rockford-Fosgate-3SIXTY-2.html between the factory head unit and the amps. The 360.2 unit converts the analog signal to digital for custom frequency and imaging management, then converts the tailored signal back to analog for the amps to consume. The signal tailoring is accomplished while sitting in the car with a Palm hand held device that connects to the Rockford Fosgate 360.2 unit via Bluetooth. A frequency equalizer is displayed on the Palm display, and changes to frequency and imaging take place in real time while listening. Multiple custom configurations can be stored and retrieved. There is no need to reconfigure the system, however the Palm device is included if you wish to tweak to your taste. All factory speakers were replaced with Infinity Reference Series 6030 speakers, including door speakers and tweeters. Additional Infinity tweeters were added to the rear door panel speakers to clear up a void in the overall sound. In the trunk is an Infinity Reference Series subwoofer in a sealed enclosure for accuracy. A 6 CD changer is tucked away in the glove compartment. The car has been well maintained, with only Mobil 1 synthetic being used. I have never had to add oil between changes, which have always taken place well before recommended change intervals. The transmission was flushed and filled with new fluid at 50K. Only the highest quality replacement parts have been installed. New Yokohama summer performance tires are mounted, as well as new Koni FSD shocks http://www.koni.com/190.html. Porterfield http://porterfield-brakes.com Kevlar/ceramic brake pads are installed, which have excellent stopping power and are nearly dust free for clean rims. New Zimmerman drilled rotors are mounted on all four hubs. The factory rims have been polished. Most of my driving was between Texas cities, and the car is very comfortable cruising at speeds exceeding the norm. The system is very stealthy, the laser shifting units are mounted internally on either side of the front grille and are all but invisible, as you can see in the frontal view of the car. A rear laser deflector is tucked away at the top of the rear license plate, disguised by a black licesne plate frame that has been modified to make the laser shifter appear as part of the license plate frame. In the cabin, there is no evidence of the system once the ashtray cover is closed, which conceals the control unit. There is nothing for a police officer to notice and nothing to tempt a thief. There is a USB port in the glove box for software updates. The signal strength and type display is housed in the center grill on top of the dash. The grill was imported from the Netherlands for its built in display. A small warning LED is mounted in the top of the instrument cluster that flashes red at varying speed based on signal strength. This is likely one of the quietest C class machines on the road. The entire floor pan, the trunk floor and the inner sides of all doors and the rear quarter panel insides are all covered with Dynamat soundproofing. Given how low the car sits, the bottom of the front air dam has scrapes from contact with parking blocks. Also, the lower portion of the air dam has small chips from road debris as might be expected. The lower air dam is relatively easy to remove and could easily be taken off and repainted if desired. Two fully functioning keys are included. The car is advertised locally and this listing may be cancelled if a local sale takes place. The original onwer traded the car on a new Audi, I picked it up with 30K on the odometer from Audi West Houston. The car has never been in an accident, I have been all over it and underneath it as well. I removed the front bumper / air dam assembly in order to mount the front radar receiver behind the center mesh air dam grille, and I can confirm that everything is perfect behind the bumper cover. There are no door dings. The tech at Texas German Autohaus who installed the Konis (which I had to wait 6 weeks for) and also did the 4 wheel alignment told me that the suspension bushings were all in great shape. There car is in great shape, there are no surprises. All the typical wear items - brake pads, rotors, tires, shocks/struts are all new, it will need no maintenance for quite a while. I will include the oil filter wrench, essentially a cap that fits on top of the oil filter with a nut at top center. I have had no occasion to replace the battery, I don't know if it is original or not. I have purchased a 2013 Audi S5, so now someone has an opportunity to own a very well maintained, reliable car with some very nice aftermarket enhancements.
