Up for auction is this 1963 Volkswagon Baja Bug which is in good running condition. It has a newer engine (1970's) which runs great with no problems. This vehicle has two newer front seats which are not stock Volkswagon seats, but they fit perfectly and are in very good condition. The interior of the vehicle needs some work (see pictures); especially the rear seat. The front interior section of the car is fairly clean and in good condition. The vehicle comes with the tow bar shown in the pictures. The car needs a new clutch cable to be installed. There are two newer interior door panels that are in great condition for this vehicle that still need to be installed and will be included with this auction. The car has four new tires . The brakes have recently been updated and are in great condition. The car rides really well and is street legal as far as all the equipment. It is currently registered under a non-op registration with $144 due to gain full registration and operation status. This year does not require seat belts but they are installed in this vehicle. The title is clean and I have the "Pink Slip" or "Certificate of Title and i am the registered owner. The engine runs great; no smoke; does not burn oil; it does need a little work on the interior. It has a new paint job and is great on gas! Not sure if this helps, but if desired, I could provide the contact information for the person that put the engine into this vehicle. He is local to Sacramento and he is a VW enthusiast that has been working with VW's for many years and owns several of his own that are spectacular.
