You are viewing an 81 Delorean that has been in my family since 1981. We are the second owners. As the story goes the first owner (a doctor) was showing it off at a party, and as you historians know some contraban jokes were made, and it was traded in at a dealership shortly after. My Dad bought it a few days later. Ok back to details. It was purchased in NY. And has been in Florida for the last 15 years. It was garaged until the last 3 years. But has been covered. The engine runs, but a month ago I noticed the water pump is leaking. The radiator fans do NOT work so it cannot be driven. The window motors do not work. Everything is original except the radiator which was replaced with a brass one. The seats are dried out but still firm. The passenger seat is missing the adjustment piece. Lost when I was going to have them releathered. The window motors are frozen. The gas struts for the doors will need to replaced. There is some rust on the frame. The bumpers need prime and paint. There is small dent on the passenger side door. As you can see this car does need time and TLC and is sold 'as is' condition. I do love this car, but I do not have the time to care for her the way she needs. Feel free to e-mail me (Tom) with questions or more pics of certain areas.
