1961 Econoline pickup. This is an Econoline that is in excellent condition. This is a truck that has been in California it whole life until a month ago it was shipped over to Arizona. As you can see from the pictures under the truck there is zero rust on it. It has never had rust and the bottom of the truck looks super clean and nice. I did not paint it but the last guy told me it was not in an accident and the body of the truck was in excellent condition before they painted it. This is a fresh paint job that was done within the last couple of years. The body of this truck has no dings no dents and no areas where rust was fixed. This is in excellent condition and will need no body work at all. The typical areas on the lower bed and on the tail gate have no rust and look very nice. I live in Minnesota and I go to Arizona in the winter for 2 months and I planned on driving this over the winter and my wife would drive our main car. I was going to tinker and fix the small items it needs while I was down there because I get bored. I definately dont want a collector truck from Mn to work on when Im down there I want a nice rust free car that needs very little work. This truck has a 6 cylinder 200 straight six in it. It runs very nice and shifts easily. It will run about 60-65 on the highway. Everything on the brakes are new and in excellent condition. The carb was rebuilt and it runs and starts nice, there was also a new starter that was put on. When the truck was painted all the glass was taken out and a new windshield was put in along with new rubber for the windshield. Also the back glass and the quarter glass had new weather strip put in but they are the original Ford glass. You can see in the pictures behind the front seats and often times they rust there but this one has no signs of past or current rust. I honestly think you could drive this for several states without having any issues but with older cars you are always taking somewhat of a risk because they are not the same as a modern car. I have a clear California title to go with the truck and I have a picture of it. I have a very good friend of mine who took the pictures for me in Arizona and they were on an older camera so the pictures are not as nice as I would like but you can get the idea. These pictures were taken today July 5th, 2012. There are a couple of items that need to be done to the truck. There are emblems that come with the truck that need to be installed, there is also a spare tire that needs to be mounted in the truck bed but we will just put it in the bed laying flat and it comes with the truck. The glove box lid needs to be painted and put on and it comes with the truck. The air cleaner needs to be painted and installed and it also comes with the truck. The glass on the doors need new weather strip. The quarter, back and front glass all have new weather strips but the doors do not. The seats have some tears in them you can either leave them as is or have them recovered. This is going to be a true no reserve auction starting at 200 dollars and selling for what ever the high bidder is willing to pay. The truck is in Laveen Arizona and it is ready to go right now.
