This is a great running BMW! I really have no specific reason to sell this car except that I have another car that I put miles on and I have owned this vehicle for almost 2 years and have only put several thousand miles on it. I have progressively repaired some small leaks and wear-and-tear suspension components over the past 2 years. I only use OEM parts to the point that it is VERY Mechanically sound. I have also had a recent Pre-Purchase inspection performed at a well known BMW Licensed Service Center and the following was found. With all of this and checking three online sources with no embellishment on the vehicle condition, the average value of this car is more than $6,150.00. The shifter shaft seal is seepingThe left front kidney grill is looseThe sunroof shade guide clips are looseThe oil level sensor is faulty Other than that I have repaired everything I can mechanically correct on the car. The tires and brakes have more than half of their life remaining and are wearing evenly. While it was at the Dealer I had them perform a full detail (which I have done about every 6 months) and with the detail I had CilaJet applied to the car to protect it from the elements for the next 5 years. (think of it like a permanent wax) Keep in mind this car is going on 14 years old and is going to have some small dents and scratches. The rear bumper has the most markings due to the previous owner parking on the street in D.C. Otherwise the car has all original body panels and has never been in any major accident. Notice how I highlighted this section. The previous High bidder backed out of the payment because his wife didn't think the car looked pretty enough. I assure you, the car is not perfect. I can say I keep the exterior and interior clean and the body does have some minor scratches and dents. I am a very mechanically involved owner and I am also too picky about body work so leaving the original wear and tear on the outside of the car is better to me than having poor body work. I hope you'll appreciate that mentality. The interior has some regular wear but nothing major and no big eye-sores. All of the electronics work perfectly. I keep the car plugged in to a Battery Maintainer when it's not in use. (If you know about BMW's, then you know It's the electronics that need maintained more than anything else) Any Questions? Just let me know. All Service is up-to-date. Oil, coolant, steering hydraulics and brake fluid have all been serviced within the past year. Please note the average rating for this car goes no higher than a 65 out of 100. This car ranks an 80 out of 100 and that is only because I have transferred the title from one state to the other, so it looks like the car has been with 4 owners when I am actually the third owner.
