Hello and welcome to my auction VW lovers young and old. I have here a 1972 Volkswagen Super beetle Convertible which is the first year of the Super beetle and was only produced with the long hood and straight windshield in a super beetle 71-72. This car was going to be restored and I already have the motor rebuilt with new carburator,clutch and a good working transmission and not to mention good working brakes. I am simply to busy to restore this car but I do have a brand new still in the box convertible top and headliner that I will include and install if the bidding goes over $3,500.00 .Also I will install a brand new front windshield with a seal as long as the bidding goes over $3,500.00. Again to be clear ,this car will go No Reserve!! What it ends at is what you pay . There is no obligation of any kind to have me install the convertible top but I have offered this in the past and the car sells super low and then I was asked what I would charge to put the top on. That is not how this will work, if it doesn't reach $3,500.00 then the new buyer will have to do it himself or herself. The top and windshield installed is about a $1,500.00 savings and it does include all new rubbers installed. So to sum all this up , you have a 1972 Super beetle in good shape only one minor little bend in the drivers side rear side near the quarter window ,a very light bend that I will picture. Otherwise there is not a dent in the car is fine for a daily driver to go back and forth to work or down to the beach . I have ordered New Bumpers which will be included : Front and back. New engine 1600 CC with less then 50 miles on it New running boards New DISC brakes New convertible top and headliner in the box ( included and installed only if the bidding reaches $3,500.00) New clutch,pressure plate and throwout barring Terms: No deposit but I need an email or phone call at the end of auction with the lead buyers intentions. Full payment in 3 days of auctions end by bank wire transfer , bank certified funds over nighted or of couse cash in person. The car is located in Paso Robles California which is in the beautiful wine country and ranked third in the nation for the best place to live.The title will be sent once all money has cleared my bank and has arrived back from Dmv in Sacremento The car is 35 plus years old and being sold as is and all sales are final. The car can be stored for free till a transporter can be found or picked up. I also reserve the right if I do not hear from the lead bidder to offer a second chance offer or relist the car after an hour of the auction ends .
