Vehicle Detail

Up for sale is my 99 Ford Explorer XLT, in excellent mechanical and cosmetic condition. Everything works 100% correctly. 4x4 works with no problems, A/C is Ice cold, All Power options function as they should, Engine and transmission operate smoothly and crisply. Here are 3 videos, first one is accelerating to demonstrate the transmission shifting smoothly with no slipping etc, the second of the engine idling smoothly and queitly with no strange noises, and the third of braking to demonstrate no pulsating or pulling http://s786.photobucket.com/albums/yy144/adambant/?action=view¤t=P1040353.mp4 http://s786.photobucket.com/albums/yy144/adambant/?action=view¤t=P1040356.mp4 http://s786.photobucket.com/albums/yy144/adambant/?action=view¤t=P1040357.mp4 In the Year and a half I have owned it, the following have been replaced:All upper and lower ball jointsAll inner and outer tie rodsSway bar bushings and endlinksThis being the SOHC V6, it did have the timing chain issues. The Upper Front and Rear, and primary Timing chains, guides, cassettes, sprockets, and Hydraulic tensioners were replaced with the UPDATED, Genuine Ford parts at 125k milesMonroe Sensatrac ShocksPads and rotors front and rearKumho Road Venture AT KL78 Tires, with over 50% Tread remainingTransmission Filter and Fluid Headlight, Turn signal, and fog light housings, with Sylvania Silverstat BulbsAmsoil Synthetic Fluid in Front and rear differntials and transfer caseMotorcraft spark plugs and Bosch Premium Ignition WiresFel-Pro brand Upper and lower intake manifold GasketsAll 4 Oxygen Sensors replaced with Bosch sensorsNew U joints in in front and rear driveshafts and rebalancing of shaftsA Walker Queit Flow SS (Stainless Steel) Muffler and pipe from Cat.Converter backNew "Flexible Splash Shields" behing front tires, to keep road spray/debris out of engineNew Fuel Pump, sock and fuel FilterNew Thermostat Housing(prone to cracking, wich mine did), Thermostat, and both Temperature Sensors that go in the housing I have only made 2 modifications. The first I have made, is approximately a 2 inch suspension Lift. Warrior brand shackles and Pro-Comp Add a Leaf kit in the rear, wich raised the rear 3 inches total, but it was sagging an inch to begin with. Then in the front, 2 inches of lift by adjusting the torsion bar style suspension. Now the truck sits perfectly level front to back AND side to side, with no rear sag or tilt that explorers are prone to having. The second, was installing a Double Din Size, JVC Stereo Receiver/CD/mp3/Ipod player. I will include shown aux and ipod input cables as shown in picture. One intersting thing to note is the stereo is able to be switched to about 35 different display colors, including the ford green if you want it to match. I have it on blue as you can see in the picture. Great stereo, easily controls your ipod, plays cds, MP3 cds, etc etc. This truck is amazing in the snow. Below are two pictures from the winter of 2010/2011. If you remember, the northeast got hit hard with snow. The first picture is how i found my explorer at 6 am going to work. I just cleared off the snow from on top, got in, put it in 4x4, and drove away. http://i786.photobucket.com/albums/yy144/adambant/11.jpg This second picture is of when i got to the parking lot at work. I was plowing snow with the front bumper. http://i786.photobucket.com/albums/yy144/adambant/4.jpg The ONLY reason I am selling this truck is becuase of Financial trouble. As you can see, I have put a LOT into it. I have taken very good care of it, religious oil changes, washing it almost every weekend. This truck will run for a long time without any problems. Thank You for looking. The explorer is located in Bayonne NJ, but I could also arrange to have it at my Fathers in Trenton, NJ if that would help with pickup. And on that note, BUYER is responsible for ALL shipping arrangements if necessary. I would much prefer personal pick up. There is NO warranty of ANY kind. Mileage may increase slightly as vehicle is driven on weekends. $500 Deposit due via paypal at auction close. Cash in person is all I will accept for the balance, NO checks of ANY kind. Buyer has 2 weeks to pick up vehicle.
