Vehicle Detail
This is my 1974 F-250. I am the second owner, I purchased it in 2008. This truck is an old farm truck from Genoa, IL. I am assuming that with the miles as low as they are (69k) that this truck rarely left the farm and most likely never was on salted roads as the body is pretty much rust free. There are no holes in the body, she is solid! It has been repainted at some time in its life. Not a quality paint. The motor has very low milage and is actual, another reason I don't think this truck saw much road milage. This truck runs great, starts in any weather and has never not started for me, even if it sits for a week or so in the dead of winter. I change the oil regularly. This truck leaks nothing. Not a mark on my driveway from this vehicle. This is a bare bones vintage truck. It has roll windows, AM radio…that is it. It does have the traditional blanketed style seat covers. Seat not in bad shape I just liked the look. As I said this truck was farm truck purchased for farm work and treated as equipment so my assumption is that the farmer maintained it well, you need your tools to work when you go to use them! I have the piece of trim for the left side of the bed as well, it can easily be mounted back on. Also Tires are good. The rear are like new, the front are a bit less but effective. Lots of tire life left. I purchased this truck to run materials while remolding my house, the house is done so I no longer need the vehicle. This truck is a dependable workhorse or could be a great fixer upper for the collector. This vehicle has no warranty. The mechanical description is to the best of my abilities, as I am not a certified mechanic. All buyers are encouraged to come and inspect the vehicle before end of auction.
