POWERFUL work truck- has been used to pull our 8k lb horse trailer for the past three years and never had an issue until recently with the oil pump situation. 4 Door- extended cab, towing package with gooseneck hitch and bumper pull, all electrical hookups fully functional. Tires, interior, & transmission all in great shape. Still lots of miles left on this truck. Truck recently presented problem starting, took to the dealership and was advised that these are the parts that it needs:High Pressure Oil Pump, 2 Braided Lines from Pump to Engine Head, ICP Sensor, IPR Sensor, Glow Plug Relay. These parts cost about $1200. The Ford dealership in Sylva, NC has provided an estimate to fix it completely with parts and labor for about $2200 (I have a copy of this estimate). We do not have the money to fix it, thus- our loss is your gain. Vehicle is located in Cullowhee, NC and would need to be towed for repairs. Will start occasionally as-is, but cannot gurantee that you will be able to get it started, so plan on towing. The Blue Book price on this vehicle is $7,502, discounting the repairs needed, a fair price would be $5300; we are selling WAY below that.
