Vehicle Detail

This is a 1941 Ford Pickup Truck. It looks like a 1940, but the Title says it is a 1941. I have a clear Title for this Truck. This Truck has been Hot Rodded or Rat Rodded or whatever you want to call it. I think it is a little too nice to be called a Rat Rod. The Truck is sitting on it's original Frame. The Rear of the Frame has been modified and now has a 4 Link suspension and a Ford 9" Differential. The Front of the Frame has been modified and has Mustang II Independent suspension. The Engine and Transmission have been replaced with a Chevrolet Small Block and Automatic Transmission. I believe the Small Block is a 265 and the Transmission is a 350 Turbohydramatic. The Frame modifications and engine swap were done before I got the truck. The Body of the Truck is nice and solid. There is no rust in the body. There are some patches and the Bumpers have been smoothed and removed, both Front and Rear and the Fuel Inlet was shaved from the Rear Fender. The Windshield has just been replaced and was installed with a V Joint instead of the traditional center post. The Rear Window and Seal are also new. The Doors both have window glass, but they are not new. The Interior has what appears to be a stock Bench Seat that must have been recovered at some time. There is a General Motors Steering Column that is connected to the Mustang II Front Suspension. The Truck steers properly. The Gauges appear to be original. They are not connected to the Engine or Transmission. The Engine Starts and runs. The Transmission shifts into gear. That is as far as I got with the drive train because there are no Brakes. The Brakes are not hooked up and the Truck does not have a Master Cylinder or Brake Pedal. The Front Brakes will need some parts including Pads and probably new Calipers. The Rear Brakes will need Shoes and probably Wheel Cylinders and Lines. I was going to make this a Coca-Cola Theme Truck. It is painted Red and has the side from an old Coca-Cola Ice Box fabricated into a Tail Gate. The paint on the Tail Gate is distressed to make it look old and there is brown painted around the edges and on the Coca-Cola letters to simulate rust. I was planning on distressing the entire paint job, in this same manner. There is a Keg in the Bed that serves as a Gas Tank and an old Coca-Cola cooler that will hold the Battery. This could be a neat Truck with a little more work. The Body is solid, but needs some alignment work. The Paint is shiny and looks good, but is not a professional or show quality paint job. There are also scratches and nicks in the paint job. The Body panels, Fenders, Doors, Cab and Running Boards are all Steel. There are no Fiberglass parts on this Truck. I am posting good pictures and a detailed description, but will try to answer any questions through email. I may be able to assist with delivery, for a fee, within a few hundred miles of Canton, Ohio. I am listing this Truck with a low starting price and no reserve. It will sell to the highest bidder.
