I am selling my 1965 Ford Mustang fastback, GT-350 Shelby Hertz Recreation. This car was a built about 6 years ago by a professional shop in Georgia. They made about 35-40 of these Hertz clones. This was the 7th car they built. The car was completely restored from top to bottom. Everything was done including wiring and suspension. This car has the looks of a real Shelby for much less. Here is a list of the work that was done; DRIVETRAIN--- Rebuilt early 302 with Weiand Stealth High Rise intake, new Holley 600 4bbl. carb, mild cam, electronic ignition. Scott Drake Aluminum Radiator, with Perma Cool 17" inch fan Try-Y Headers with Flowmaster 40's and 2.5 inch aluminized exhaust system---motor is strong, runs cool and no smoking or leaking issues Rebuilt C-4 trans with Shift Kit and Aluminum Trans Fluid Cooler Rebuilt 8 inch rear with 3.00 open rear. SUSPENSION AND BRAKES--- Grab a Trak 620# 1" lowering Front Coils with Poly Insulators, new spring perches and KYB shock Grab a Trak 4.5 Leafs Mid Eye 1" lowering rear springs and Poly Shackle Kit Cobra Automotive Heavy Duty Spring Plates with traction Bar brackets SMR Sub frame Connectors Stainless Steel Brakes Power Front Disc--Stock Rear Drums Shelby Quick Ratio Steering Kit. INTERIOR--- Kenwood AM/FM/CD with 6 speakers , Pony Stock Front Seats, Painless Wiring 14 Circuit Harness with emergency flashers AUTO METER GUAGES mounted in stock 1966 instrument panel , Cobra Tach Mounted on Dash, 65 Shelby Package Tray. EXTERIOR-- Shelby GT-350 Hertz Gold Striping--correct dimensions and locations Shelby GT-350 gas cap Shelby GT-350 Plexiglass quarter windows and Quarter panel scoops Dual outside Shelby bullit mirrors Shelby badge on tailight panel 15x7 Chrome Magnum 500s with BF Goodrich Radial TA's OVERALL CONDITION--- This car has been driven about 4,000 miles since it was built, the paint is very nice, it has some wear and tear, but still looks really nice, no rust at all on the body or under the car. It is solid and drives great. It has a plenty of power and runs cool. The underside is black and is clean. It just needs a new home.
