Vehicle Detail

1950 Ford F-1 Pickup. This truck has a neat clean look and lots of custom touches. It is not a show truck, but is a great cruiser and is dependable enough to be your everyday driver. The Truck has a clean and Clear Title. The Truck has a nice solid Body. The Paint is shiny and looks good, but is not show quality. It has nicks and scratches. There is no rust in the truck. The Truck is all original Ford Steel. There are no Fiberglass Fenders, Fiberglass Running Boards or any other Fiberglass Panels. The Truck has a Chevrolet 4 Bolt Main 350 with 4 Barrel Carburetor and a Chevrolet 350 Turbohydromatic Transmission. The Engine has a small cam that lopes when it is running. It isn't a race car, but sounds good, sitting at the light! Since I got it, the Engine got a new Starter and a 1 wire Alternator. The 1950 Grill has been replaced with a narrowed 1951 Grill and European Headlights. The Front Turn Signals are in the Headlights. The Three Driving Lights, under the Grill are functional and really light up the road. The Tail Lights are 1939 Ford units, placed in the Rear Fenders. The Stainless Trim on the Hood is a combination of 1950 and 1951 Parts. I put these on because I think they look good. The Interior has several neat features including a Sun Roof that pops up and can be removed, a tall Locar Shifter and a 1937 Ford Rear View Mirror. The Seat is original, but has been re-upholstered. The Carpet, Visors and Headliner are red. The Dash has a complete set of Dolphin Gauges including: Speedometer, Tachometer, Fuel Gauge, Water Temperature, Oil Pressure and Volt Meter. All of the gauges work, but the Speedometer is off by a few miles and the Oil Pressure gauge works backwards. I believe it needs a different sending unit. There is no Tail Gate. There is a Vintage Coca-Cola Cooler bolted to the bed floor. It doesn't hold the battery or any mechanical devices. I put it there because it looked cool and gave me a place to carry an extra quart of oil or water or tools or whatever. You never have enough storage space in a pickup! The rear of the Truck has a small custom Bumper, Trailer Hitch and a set of Harley Davidson Fish Tail Exhaust Tips. Again, I just put these on because I thought they looked cool. I get a lot of complements on them, so I must be right! The Truck has complete exhaust. The Truck is sitting on a set of 1980s vintage Factory Ford Aluminum Wheels and B.F.Goodrich Radial T/A Tires. The Rims are nice and the Tires have almost full tread and look new. This Truck runs out good and can be driven anywhere. It has the original rear end and is low geared, so I don't drive it on the highway much. This truck is not a show car, but looks nice and gets a lot of attention. There is still some room for personalization or customization. I was considering adding Disc Brakes and a higher geared Rear End. I am posting good pictures and a good description, but will try to answer any questions through email. I may be able to assist with delivery, within a few hundred miles of Canton, Ohio, for a fee. Drop me an email, if you are interested and I will give you a quote. I am listing this Truck with a very low starting price and no reserve. It will sell to the highest bidder at the end of this auction.
