1959 Ford Thunderbird *Mint Condition* - Super mint 2 door hardtop with 83,000 original miles. - Garage kept - gently used vehicle. - Minor imperfections. - Car that the original batmobile was based on! - This is the first year which features power windows. - A real head turner! I purchased this beautiful automobile about five years ago and unfortunately don't get to use it as much as I would like. My older daughter is now driving and I need garage space. This car will make a lovely addition to someone's collection. If you live in the New York tri-state area, you are welcome to preview or check out the car. If you live outside the tri-state area, I will be happy to answer any questions or send you any additional pictures that you might require. We can make arrangements to transfer the vehicle to you in what ever manner you prefer. On Jun-29-12 at 11:07:13 PDT, seller added the following information: I have been informed by a fellow ebayer that the batmobile car was based on a 1955 Ford Futura not a 1959 T-Bird.Sorry for the mix-up.I have also notified several potential bidders that the car has a short which is draining the battery.It also has a broken antennae and one of the power windows doesn't work.The idle needs to probably be adjusted also.Thanks and happy bidding.
