Normal 0 I have had this car a little over a year, bought it from an old man who used it locally. I had the intention of fixing it up and driving this classic a few years but now work has changed and will be traveling more frequently…..I just don’t have the time to dedicate. I have put a lot into it, so with a little more effort it will be a great daily or weekend car to tool around in. It is in very good condition with some minor issues that can be resolved easily for mechanically inclined. Here’s what the problems are: It has original 133,000 miles plus a few on top…the temperature gauge wasn’t working so I took out the gauge cluster out and replaced the temp gauge. Once installed the temp gauge worked but the OD decided to stop. Doesn’t have a radio, I have a replacement but haven’t installed it yet. It’s Pioneer XM ready with pop off face option and carrying case (brand new). On a cold spell I went out to start the car and the windshield wipers stuck to the windshield causing the wipers to not saddle all the way down in the “parked” position. After a recent heavy down pour the car decided not to start. I think there are several electrical connections that need cleaning and checked, from what I’ve been told by a local mechanic - I don’t think it’s serious…I just don’t have the time now to figure it out. Since I purchased the car in February 2011, here’s a list of what has been done to date (I have all receipts):2/11 – serviced locally including all the belts replaced and new wiper blades 5/27/11 - Under axle pipe, tailpipe, muffler and front end alignment 10/7/11 – Rear brake rotor and pads 10/18/11 – (4) new tires 10/29/11 – fuel injection cleaning 1/6/12 – Fuel pressure regulator and shift linkage bushings 3/8/12 – New engine wire harness replaced The car has it’s original paint finish which is still in very good condition overall. The windows are manual and all in good working order. There is a minor rust spot at the passenger side which has been treated with anti-rust solution. All lights and turn signals work including the horn, the motor blower works great with lots of heat in the winter. The AC needs recharging. The windshield washer still works too!! All gauges works with exception of the OD, which I mentioned stopped work recently. The interior is clean and a new dash cover is sitting over the original dash that has a few cracks from the age of the car…. not unheard of. The driver’s seat has a folding armrest. Both the hard plastic door pockets are fully intact and in excellent condition. The car comes with few extra replacement parts. It has a clean title too. Buyer will be responsible for picking up the car locally or arranging shipping.
