What we have for sale is a 1968 Mercedes Benz 280se convertible.I've had this car for the past five years and have had fun. This is a class "A" head turner. Cruises the highway at 70mph and starts right up every time. No smoke and no drips. Tires and brakes are close to 100% as you can get. I had this car painted a few years ago and the paint job is 100%. Sanded down to the metal , primed and painted. Should last the next 44 years. Engine is in excellent shape and runs like a top. Convertible top is also in great shape and there are no tears or wear and tear on the top along with the interior of the car. I have the origional leather seats and moldings, all in excellent shape. A few minus items. The vin shows the car as a coupe. I did research and found that the car was converted in the factory to a convertible to go along with the demand for convertibles over a standard 2 door coupe. This was a Mercedes Benz "factory" job and not a body shop job. Also the car was white. You can not tell anywhere that white ever existed. Moving to FLA soon (full time) retired and getting rid of three of the five cars. Just sold my 1979 300TD wagon a month ago from Florida and I'll have my 1999 500SL with 42,000 miles on it ready soon. This is a winner and should not be overlooked.
