DESCRIPTION: This 1963 BUICK Riviera is a good looking car and it was the first year for the introduction of this new Buick model. Under the hood lies a great running 401 CID V8 engine that supplies enough performance to make driving this big luxury car pretty interesting. It will definitely keep up with traffic! It also has huge aluminum brake drums that will pull this car down from speed like you want it too. This a very honest original car and it is packed with plenty of creature comforts and safety features.This Riviera is equipped with power steering, power brakes, power driver's seat, deluxe black leather interior, tilt steering, rear window defroster, power trunk release, power antenna, remote driver's mirror and power windows. The original black leather interior is amazingly intact and shows no rips, holes or tears. With a pro conditioning it would look fantastic! Doors open and close easily and the glass is all perfect.The car also has new carpeting, a new fiberglass rear parcel shelf and a new trunk board kit. Before the new headliner was installed the roof was reinforced and shoulder belts were added to compliment the lap safety belts and provide much more protection. There is a spare tire, tools and an original owner's manual that will all come with the car. The tires match but they are older and getting tired.All of the electric power windows work as does most everything else. Not functioning were the clock and the odometer at the time we took the photos. The sheet metal appears to be all original and although there are a few small traces of surface rust, in the majority the car appears to be very sound with no major rot or signs of previous repair work to the undercarriage or body. Chrome on the front bumper it tired and it will also be needing a new cooling radiator before too much longer. The rest of the bright work is pretty decent with nothing missing.
