Vehicle Detail
This vehicle has been great to my family. We have owned it since August of 2005 and put about 90k miles on it. We are simply going back to school and going from two vehicles to one. This explorer has beautiful leather, cold A/C, third row seats, 4 wheel drive (used maybe twice), luggage racks, remote controlled stereo with iPod adapter and bluetooth speakers for handsfree talking. Cruise control, power everything, and has had the 90k mile check up and other normal maintenance. Things to note about this vehicle- the middle row driver side window isn't currently working, not an expensive repair, but just not important enough for us to mess with. There are some dings from normal wear and tear and the paint is cracking in a few spots (see close up pictures for the 2 spots). In the interest of full disclosure there have been some VERY intermittent issues with accelerating from 2nd to 3rd gear, but this has only happened a few times and doesn't affect much, I just want to make sure to list everything that you could possibly come across. The speakers all work great, we have never had any problems with getting the cars started or needing anything other than oil and gas. We have kept this vehicle up very well, and are kind of bummed to get rid of such a reliable vehicle, but it just makes no sense in keeping a second SUV while in school. Please feel free to ask any questions, and know that you are getting a great vehicle here! This is in reference to a time when someone bumped into the tow hitch, they got a hole in their bumper and we didn't need to make any repairs on our vehicle. There has never been any evidence of this causing any problems at all. -Thanks!
