You are looking at a 1979 VW converible.The captioned picture,car show and trohpy picture were taken in 2000.All other pictures were taken this May , 2012. The motor has been completely rebuilt from top to bottom and has been beefed up to the 1835 cc with Webber Carb.. Motor has less than 100 miles on it.Runs perfect.We wanted the bigger motor for easier hauling of the trailer.New altenator, fuel pump,ignition coil,master brake cylinder,degree pulley and wheel cylinders.Webber carb has been completely rebuilt. The body has a few dings and scratches and the front hood is missing one spring.We use a rod to hold up as seen in picture.You can easily get this spring online.Over all. the car is in good shape.When we had the motor rebuilt ,the mechanic fell ill and the car was left in the Florida sun for several months and paint faded slightly and also dry rotted the top. Needless to say, the car no longer matches the trailer perfectly.We rubbed the car out and its close to color of trailer but not perfect. Dash Board in excellent condition with no cracks(always rubbed down with mink oil) TRAILER: Not everyone wants a trailer so we are not putting this up for auction, although we will let the winner of the bid have the option to purchase this custom trailer for an additional $500.00 over the winning bid..paid around $4000.00 to have this made. We have won many car shows with this car and trailer and have beat out 100k cars because of it originality. Took countless "BEST OF SHOWS" We also used this for many tailgate parties. The best thing about the trailer is we made lots of money at car shows selling hotdogs off the "GAS" barbeque grill and soda pop from the cooler in back..You can park on a street corner and make money!! It is a true money maker!! This car and trailer also made the 2000 Hot VW magazine.
