This is a 1970 Dodge Coronet R/T. This was a stunning car in it's Burnt Orange Paint, with Burnt Orange Deluxe Interior (one year only), White Vinyl Top, and White Rump Stripe. The original 440 and console shifted automatic transmission are long gone and unfortunately the engine evidently took out the hood when it exploded years ago. Still have the hood ("pitchfork style") but only the inserts survived and they go with the car along with a standard hood that is in very nice shape. Clear Michigan title that's consistent with the 53,457 miles showing on the odometer. The radiator core support was cut out for some reason when the engine and trans were pulled out. So, there are no VIN numbers on a radiator core support, but they are found on the fender tag, VIN Tag, Decal on the driver's door, and probably under the seal on the trunk rail. This car also has a build sheet that indicates the car was originally shipped to California (was built at the St. Louis assembly plant). This car had factory air conditioning, tinted glass, power disc brakes up front, rear drum brakes, 3.23 Sure Grip Posi (still in it), and lots of other options that filled up the fender tag. This car needs (and deserves) a full restoration.
