This rare car is in great driver condition, and, with a minimum of cost and effort, can easily be brought to the next level. This very original, CALIFORNIA car shows just 36,000 miles, we are not sure if this is correct. The car was in storage for many years, and we just took her out of mothballs. THE GOOD;The engine and drive train on the car are in excellent condition. When we took her out of storage, we changed all of the fluids, and gave her a full tune up. Included, were new plugs, wires, points and a full carburetor rebuild. The 6 CYLINDER TRIUMPH ENGINE runs really well, with excellent compression, good power and little blow by. The underpinnings of the car are solid, with no rust on the frame (the body is fiberglass??!!). The suspension is excellent, with SPAX ADJUSTABLE SHOCKS at all four corners. All bushings are solid, and the brakes were refreshed as well. The four speed transmission shifts well, and the clutch engages with authority. The heat and all gauges work as they should. All glass is excellent, the rubber seals are fresh and moist, and the chrome trim is excellent. The tires are new, and the rims are excellent. She breathes through a dual exhaust, and makes a GREAT noise. She runs and drives beautifully!!! She is sold on a CALIFORNIA TITLE. THE BAD;The interior of the car could use some TLC. The drivers side seat needs to be recovered, and some of the carpet and center console could stand to be refinished. The car retains its original pearl paint, which is not quite as pearly as one might like. It buffs up well, but is quit thin and has minor cracks in some places. The engine compartment could use a good detailing. We are not sure of the mileage, though her current mileage is not out of the question.
