This unique "Baby Benz" is being offered with NO RESERVE! I am happy to have an appreciative new owner enjoy this Mercedes as either a daily luxury driver, or as an excellent addition to any fine classic collection. The extremely low mileage is accurate, verified, and rare. One might expect a Mercedes with such low mileage to be in very nice condition. This car will exceed expectations. The 190E was manufactured from 1984 through 1993, and introduced much of the advanced technology that has been fundamental in the leading edge that Mercedes had maintained for decades. The CarFax indicates the first title of record issued on 8/12/92, with no recalls open for repair (certfied as of 7/17/09) with no record of any accidents or damage. As near as I can discern, I am the third owner and I have spent nearly three years restoring/replacing/repairing the small issues that generally exist in even a very low mileage vehicle. I am somewhat of a perfectionist so I even replaced an excellent battery with a new OEM Mercedes brand battery. The original floor mats were fine, however I replaced them all with new cream Mercedes floor mats. These are examples of the details I have taken to provide the new owner with a Luxury car you can be proud to own. The exterior of this Mercedes is a beautiful factory original Metalic Taupe, and the interior is a Soft Cream MBTX. I replaced one interior door panel that I thought just didn't look fresh. The balance of the interior, front, back, dash, etc. is all in superior condition. All of the accessories are fresh and function as expected. I have had Aristocrat Motors (a Mercedes dealer) in KC complete a full 27 Point inspection several times over the 3 year period of ownership, and have taken appropriate action with each reccomendation. Additionally, the right rear electric window motor has been replaced as the original was inoperative. I will be happy to provide a complete list of all of the details of this car's restoration if necessary, however suffice it to say that this "Baby Benz" is about as fresh as you could expect without buying it back in 1992. I generally invest more into one of my collectibles than I receive when I sell the car, BUT, I am proud to sell each one. These "Baby Benz" models are a delightful example of Mercedes quality and engineering expertise. I currently have two additional 190E units, one 1987 with 47K miles, and one 1984 with 19K miles. Both units are currently going through my rather extensive refurbishing process. It's not generally very profitable, but it's what I do in retirement, and I love these "Baby Benz" jewels. The last one was purchased by an elderly lady that needed a very dependable, safe, affordable, luxury car. She was delighted and frequently would contact me to share how much joy that little car gave her. These little tanks also make great "First Cars" for new drivers. Exceptionally safe, with great gas mileage, and still stylish enough to be "cool". Not likely anyone would have one like it. If you are looking for a daily driver, you can enjoy Mercedes luxury and have a very economical car to drive, at a fraction of what these units cost new. The MSRP of these cars back in the '90s was between $35K and $40K and that was over 20 years ago. If I were bidding on this car, I would have a few questions.
