This is a 1989 Volkswagen Jetta Turbo diesel for sale. I bought the car with a clear title and bad injection pump. I put a new injection pump on it, got it running and broke the timing belt while test driving it after the pump install. When the timing belt broke it also broke the camshaft, I do not know if there is further damage. After that I junked the title because I did not have the time or resources to fix it. The car has kumho tires with 90% tread, a sunroof, a very clean interior. It has a five speed transmission. The car drove and shifted good while I test drove it, other than that I do not know much about the car. This would be a 40+ mpg car for somebody that had an extra motor or parts to fix this motor. It comes with the old injection pump, new water pump, new timing belt, and a new service book. The car can be viewed by appointment only. Buyer has 7 days to pay in full, cash or cashiers check is acceptable. Located in nancy ky 42544 I have been getting alot of questions about why I junked the title. I did this so that I would not have to keep paying state road tax on a vehicle I am not even driving. The title is still signed over the same way as any other. This car is sold as is with no warranty and no refunds. It does need work done to the engine.
