1970 Plymouth 'Cuda Super Commando 383. This is a real deal High Impact Plum Crazy Purple Big Block Cuda with its original fender tag and build sheet to back it up! This is a low mile car that was photographed by the late Gray Baskerville and graced the pages of Hot Rod magazine back in the day. Since that time it has been stored away, very well preserved by the same owner from 1972. The car has power disc brakes, a 71 383 engine with a new Edelbrock carb and a Slap Stik shifted 727 TorqueFlite automatic transmission. The body is clean, rock solid and laser straight and the paint is show quality Spies Hecker clear coat. The interior is clean and in excellent condition. The rallye gauges are possibly the nicest in existence and all instruments work perfectly! The wheels are new wheel vintiques series 63 with new rubber. This was a factory elastomeric bumper car front and rear off the fender tag. The previous owner changed it out to chrome bumpers that are so nice that I could not justify replacing them. The car has a new exhaust system and fuel system(tank, sending unit, hoses, filter, pump, ect). A new state of the art CD/Ipod/USB stereo system has been installed and sounds amazing! It was done without modifying the car so if the winning bidder wants to go back to original I will include a factory Mopar am/fm radio.
