Description For auction is a 1959 Ford Thunderbird Coupe in original restorable condition (engine and transmission numbers matching). The vehicle starts easily and runs smoothly. The brakes, power steering, heat, radio, turn signals, headlights, tail lights and brake lights all work. The transmission shifts through all gears nicely and does not leak. The power windows all work (all four of them) and the power driver seat works too. Rust is in the usual places for a vehicle of this vintage. Also, the gas tank is new. Overall the vehicle is perfect for someone interested in a project car with great potential. Included with the vehicle are two (2) new replacement rocker repair panels, four (4) new chrome rings for the tail lights, replacement vent window for the one that is cracked on the drivers side. All pictured. Although the vehicle is in drivable condition it is not recommended for long distance driving. For that reason the vehicle must be shipped by the buyer for anything other than local pickup.
