Vehicle Detail
1965 Plymouth Sport Fury III Convertible. I'm listing this for a friend and I'm not a MOPAR head so please bear with me... I've looked over the car inside, outside, over and under. There is no rust anywhere - frame rails are solid, trunk floor is perfect, no corrosion on the rear spring shackle mounts. Some of the chrome is dinged up as seen in the photos. It looks like there may have been body work done in the areas in front of the rear wheels (it's wavy there). Otherwise the body is straight. I don't know if it originally had rear fender skirts but it doesn't have any now. The center emblem is missing from the grille, the engine is not original, no radio - otherwise it looks like all the parts are there. The top goes up and down as it should - needs the weatherstripping replaced, no tears or cracks in the rear window or the top. Paint is not original. It does run and drive down the road. It has not been driven frequently since 2002. It's been parked inside and started and moved around occasionally for the last 10 years, driven up and down the road a few times. The "boot" for the top is not in any shape to function -gonna need one. The seats have some tears as seen in the photos. The rear bumper does not line up correctly with the body. The owner also has several misc spare parts including but not limited to: original engine, spare grilles, tail lights, front clip, interior door panels, chrome pieces, motor for convertible top - and many other items. Please email me any questions and I will contact the owner for answers. Vehicle is located about half-way between Glade Spring and Saltville in Southwest Virginia.
