Up for auction is my 1997 F=350 crew cab dually, 7.3 diesel, 5 speed manual. The engine has a little over 247000 miles and as you know this is not that much when a 7.3 has had the care this one has. I am the second owner. The truck was sold new to the first owner in Texas. He serviced the truck the way you should, changing the oil and filter every 4 to 5000 miles. Trans every 25000 miles and so on. I have all the service records. I got The truck when it had 155000 miles on it 10 years ago and continued to service it like the first owner. I had no plans of selling it but a serious injury to my right shoulder meant that I could not shift gears! So I bought a 03 Automatic and I like the old truck better. The truck got everything it needed when it was needed. It has a new computer, glow plugs, flywheel clutch and preasure plate. Brakes about 10000 miles ago, new u joints, 6 new tires about 4000 miles ago. Trans was just serviced. Runs outstanding. Never ad oil between changes. Has all the options I can think of. CD and cassette player, alarm system. Dual tanks, all power options. .A very nice box in the bed and spray on bed liner. Tow ball in bed. And I am sure I am forgetting something. I bought the truck from a wholesaler in Ga and did not think he would be counted as a owner so I guess that makes me the 3rd owner, sorry about that. George. PS, I have a custom grill and special rubber floor mats that go with it! And I also have a stock tailgate, used and damaged. But I believe it can be repaired, see last picture.
