1978 450SL with only 61,000 actual miles. It has a silver exterior with navy interior and NEWER navy soft top. It does come with the removable hard top as well, clear glass without defects, fiberglass has no cracks, stresses, or crazing. Repainted with original Silver GERMAN paint approx. 10 years ago There are a few paint chips, not perfect. I also have a brand new set ($1K) of OEM leather seat, head rest & arm rest covers that we have not had the time to install. (pictured) Also included is an aftermarket Love the Ride windscreen costing $395. (pictured) Have original manual, service card and records. New Battery 4/2011. Timing chain and upper engine rebuild done @ previous owner’s expense, less than 1200 miles ago. $4,800 repair. Have itemized paperwork for repair. One tiny tiny spot of rust where exterior security system light was drilled through drivers front 1/4 panel near the headlight. However I have misplaced the key for the exterior activated security system because I never once used it.. I do have all the paperwork associated with the security system if you so chose to contact manf. to see if a replacement key could be made. No other rust is present, including floor pans and trunk. No cracks, fading, lifting or warping of the dash or door panels. Normal wear on carpet,(34 yr. old car!) but no holes, fraying or extreme fading. (Original 34 year old carpeting) No cracks in any glass windshield or windows. CAR HAS NARDI WOOD STEERING WHEEL, RECTANGULAR GERMAN HEADLIGHTS as well as FOG LIGHTS. DO NOT have the Original factory steering wheel, purchased car with new steering wheel, could likely pick up OEM from salvage yard very cheap. A/C NEEDS WORK! I do not know what is wrong with the A/C, purchased in present condition. I had no reason to be concerned about the A/C since I only drive the car as a convertible. Heat will blow you out! Heats up very quickly. Car has not seen, rain or snow in over 10 years!
