Vehicle Detail
I'm selling my 1999 Pontiac Trans-Am. I've owned this car for about 5 years and it has never given me trouble. The car runs and drives like it was just driven off the showroom floor. The engine runs very smoothly, the transmission shifts perfectly, the breaks feel crisp and the steering is very responsive. I have installed an aftermarket stereo/mp3 player with USB port, AUX port and cable. This car is a great daily driver. It has an automatic transmission and gets decent mileage while still having the power when you need or want it. I average 20.5mpg in this car. This is not EPA 20.5mpg. This is a real MPG figure I have calculated over many tanks of gas. You will get 20.5mpg out of this car as long as you drive it sensibly. If you really baby it you can get it up to about 24mpg. That's better than my girlfriend's 4-cylinder Scion! I have tried to detail any flaws or blemishes in the photos attached. The passenger door has a couple of scratches below the mirror and a small dent way down low where an engine hoist got away from me and bumped the car. There are a few smaller scratches here and there that should be evident in the many hi-res pictures I have attached. If you would like a close-up of any area let me know I will take a picture and send it to you. If you're in the central florida area, you're welcome to come by and see it in person. The interior driver door has the typical 2 inch crack near the rear of the door(pictured) and the driver's seat has a couple of tears in it(pictured). I had a local upholstery shop quote me $150 to repair the seat, or even just a seat cover would make it look much better. The dashboard has the typical crack in the middle as well(pictured). The car is bone stock and has not been modified in any way. All equipment is original except the stereo(I have the original stereo if you would like it). I do not smoke and as far as I can tell the previous owner did not either. I see no evidence of cigarette burns or ashtray usage. You can still smell a little of the leather when you get in. This is a great car and will give you many years of trouble-free service just as it has given me. I really wish I didn't have to sell it. We've been through a lot together. Unfortunately my dog requires surgery and I don't have the money to pay for it. I've set the starting bid at the minimum amount I need for his surgery. My loss is your gain. Please take good care of her :-) Please be certain you want to purchase this car before bidding. I have included many hi-resolution pictures so you can see every detail. Your bid is a binding contract. A $500 non-refundable deposit is due within 24 hours of the auction close. Thanks, good luck and happy bidding! On May-26-12 at 15:48:37 PDT, seller added the following information: See and hear it run
