Up for sale is my 1956 Pontiac Catalina. THIS IS A LOW RESERVE AUCTION! My original plans for this car were to do a complete restoration. Unfortunately, my funds began to run low before I could finish. My loss, your gain. This vehicle is in very good condition for its age and it DOES Run and drive!!!!!!! Thats right! This is a good running vehicle and could be used as a daily driver if desired. Not much is needed for this to be a restored beautiful vehicle. Just a paint job and leather condition is mostly what needs to be done. Some rechroming ( bumper) might need to be done as well. THIS CAR IS STILL USED AS A DAILY DRIVER FROM TIME TO TIME. Engine - 317 V-8 - Approximately 67,000 miles ( I drive it some) - starts up everytime and runs very strong. - engine and engine compartment has just been repainted and looks like new( black and red) -automatic 3 speed transmission -pictures of engine were taken after paint job and when being reassembled( so air cleaner is included but not pictured) -engine is all original (except for paint) and all included Interior - carpet and floor is in good condition(just needs vacuum) -seats are in very good condition. There are no tears or rips. - leather just needs to be wiped down or conditioned. - door panels are all there but may need redone. Still in decent condition - dash may need to be repainted. -dual leather bench seats Body/Exterior - body is in very very good condition. - one small dent in door and small rust spot ( in pictures) - paint is in fair condition - Garage kept most of its life - trim is chrome and some areas on bumper need rechroming -solid body with just small surface rust area on door - all glass is good except the front passenger is cracked. I am the third owner of this vehicle. I have replaced all brakes and master cylinder is brand new. All brake lines are new as well. I also replaced the gas tank with a brand new one. The other work I have done is cleaned and painted engine. The car is for sale locally which could end this auction early. PayPal or cash only. Local pickup only.
