Vehicle Detail
1986 Toyota Corolla SR5 for sale. No title, was purchased in 2006 with a bill of sale which was used to try and get a Bonded Title through Iowas DOT. Was accepted but I never got around to paying and sending it in, all the paperwork from this will be included in the sale. Its been sitting in my back yard ever since. Goal was to build a drift car but it is setting in that it'll never get done and would rather spend the money on some other projects. The car does run but needs assitance (battery and starting fuild). Changed the oil on it two weeks ago and started right up. Car is from the east coast and has very little rust. Mostly its just around the rear hatch. Missing so parts of the interior and a muffler. Ok now the highlights of the car. No damage to the body, completely strait. For those that dont know this is a rear wheel drive car. Perfect for racing or drifting. If you are unfamilar with the AE86 look it up on youtube and you'll see the massive following that it has. This is also a five speed. Ive included a photo of the engine bay to show that there is plenty of room if your looking to go bigger on the motor. Cash on pick up and car must be picked up with in a week of the sale. Any questions please ask before the end of the auction. On May-20-12 at 16:47:21 PDT, seller added the following information: Just wanted to add some things that were brought up by a couple of bidders. First, no you will not be able to drive this car home. Ive havnt dug into what all the car needed to run because the goal was always to drop an 20 valve in and to switch out most major parts. So if your looking to trailer Ill give you a heads up that it will have to be picked up by a full trailer. The front wheel pull behind trailer wont work unless you plan on disconnecting the drive shaft, which will not be easy. This car was basicly a chassis start point for me and some interior parts have been removed. As for shipping, Im not real familiar with shipping companies or their pricing. I will help them load the car if thats something your looking, but would prefer you talk to me first. Most companies want a drive on, drive off car and this car will not be coming with a battery so that will be one of many problems with doing that. I picked it up with a Uhaul car trailer which worked perfect.
