On May-23-12 at 13:56:34 PDT, seller added the following information: After a few questions, I have looked over the unit and here are some answers. The coil is a model T coil that sets in the cradle of the tester. The White wire you see in the pictures is mounted to a brass conductor that is mounted in a wood panel. This panel is mounted to the cast housing of the tester. This conductor matches the bottom of the coil where there is a contact point. The brass conductor is mounted in a wood panel to insulate it from the tester. I tested several coils in the unit.
