Hello, This is a sad day that I'm letting my dearly loved Buick gs 400 convertible go on auction.. There is no question this is a project and needs alot of work, but it is a Black Plated California Car with its small California title in hand. It is a true 4 speed car and has rev limiter in dash and it's correct 4 speed hole in the tunnel with no question this is a true 4 speed and all the 4 speed pedals are all there. Glass is ok and floors are not rusted at all in the front or back seat area. The trunk also appeares in very good shape only surface rust and mild scalling, Sadly I made a terible blunder and didnt call the guy I bought this car from and get the original engine, tranny,shifter,console. I am about sick that he sold everything without calling me first, but there all over the place now so no use crying over spilled milk. I have the ram air complete set up including the rare air cleaner,plastic ducts and ram air scoops and of course the ultra rare ram air hood(needs repaired in right corner) I paid $600 just for the hood and $200 to have it bead blasted alone. Interior is complete but in need of re upolstered. There is the original 10bolt limited slip rear end and factory sway bars. The shocks are shot and the car sits low in the back but I see no rot in the suspension, I have better doors with no rust, good and mostly ding free front fenders. The rear quarters need work and can easily be purchased on ebay for $359.00 per side. Ok guys if your a buick guy you know what I have here and If you have a good skylark for parts this would be the time to scape the old skylark and have a truely rare and highly desired Buicks and muscle cars on the planet once finished. Please no silly low ball offers or insulting comments to junk the car. It doesnt make it cheaper if you think im crazy for what Im asking becuase the next guy will say im giving it away. Terms very simple , Bank wire or bank certified check with in 72 hours of time the auction ends or 3 days . If bank check it must be sent Fed ex over night so I can consider this car sold. Failure to follow the terms you will recieve NON PAYINg strike and car relisted. If you need to make other arraingments please email prior to bidding. Any modifacation of terms after the end of auction will be selllers decision.The car is being sold as is and all sales are final. The car is located in Paso Robles , Ca in the beautiful wine country.
