1984 Mercedes Benz Turbo Diesel Wagon Very reliable and affordable transportation. Power windows, locks, sunroof, roof rack, class II hitch. No major repairs to any of the major components of the engine or transmission. The starter was replaced 9 +/- years ago, the air cleaner mounts have been replaced, and all services are maintained by myself. The 300TD does have a load leveling suspension, that was redone 7 or so years ago. The ignition switch was replaced about 6 yrs ago. I do have many additional belts, bulbs, a repair manual, etc., that will be included with the car. The a/c works well for a vehicle of this age and blows cold. However, it does need to be charged about once a year. There are some service records available, the auto level has been reworked. Cruise control and radio do not work and the radio is not the original. There is a small dent in rear bumper area along with some under carriage rust which is to be expected in a car this old that is driven daily. This vehicle has been my primary mode of transportation for the last 13 years. The car is not as pretty as it once was, but I would not hesitate to drive this car anywhere, just recently been on 8 hours trip over to GA. This car is also for sale locally.
