I am listing this car for a friend of mine who has cancer. He is selling four cars total. The cars are only being sold for this reason. Any questions you can call 540-320-2020 Ask for Bob (owner of the car) Listed below is the notes he gave me in his words. "For your consideration is a Ford Model A 1929 west coast car. No rust found in this car. In my years with it all floor pans original. Paint very presentable. Its not an award winner, just an all around nice car. Here's the up grades to the car. I was told the engine had been overhauled. I can say for a truth I have never added more than a pint of oil between changes of 2000 miles. It has new modern water pump, new rebuilt starter and generator. New high compression head to increase horse power. New modern distributer and points. I added the five speed transmission conversion which gives you full sancronized changin of gears and the 5th gear is overdrive of 27%. The car now runs 55 fine. Also upgraded the drive shaft from a closed to a modern open drive shaft, much smoother. The rear end ring gear and pinion with new bearing kit was installed. New front and rear springs. New front and rear brake shoes, rods, springs flat head, teds brake system installed, rebuilt backer plates. Tires are about 50% with a good spare. Turn signals have been installed. Interior is in good condition. New battery and cables. I dont want to represent this car as a show winner. this is a very good driver that you will be proud to show, drive and enjoy. The only thing I have to say it needs is the steer box rebuilt, as I have noticed leaking oil and its a little loose. It needs 1 tire. Head lights are new stainless steel, new stainless rock guard on radiator. New bumper, new fender, running board and ayrons electric wiper system and it works.
