I will try to describe this the best I can since I have only owned the car for about a week. I bought the car on e-bay hoping I could drive it back to missouri for my daughter since the last owner said all I need to do is change the oil and it would be good to go, It is a 1995 BMW 530I Sport wagon with 162,760 miles on it the body is in fair shape with a few scratches a few larger on the passenger rear door and a few dents as you can see in the photos, the gas door is also loose, the leather interior is in good shape the air works the heat works the sunroof works the trans worked like it should the main problem I have with the car is the engine needs to be overhauled it had a low oil pressure message on the dash when I bought it and low oil level message. I took it in to have the oil changed and still had the messages than the noises on the valves started making more noises and the messages remained on I took it too a mechanic in the san fernando valley and he did more test and found engine damage, so this car is being sold as is with no returns knowing it does have engine damage. If you have a engine to put in it, the repair station that it is at would install it for $800 labor cost if you have a engine and want to do it your self you can save a little, or if you want to rebuild the one that is in it you can do that also.One more time so I am clear, This car is being sold as-is with a known engine problem it will have to be replaced or rebuilt before it is drivable. Update: I just got a call from the repair shop and they told me they found 2 engines with just over 100,000 miles on them and would be able to install one complete with changing all fluids and 90 day warrantee for $2350, also they can put a engine that you bring in or have delivered to the shop for you, for $800 complete.
