1987 Porsche 924S Excellent Condition!5 Speed Standard Only 56,863 Original Miles (still driven weekends so this will increase slightly) Great Handling - Runs and Drives Perfect CLEAN Motor (see photos)New Black on Black High Gloss Professional Paint Job with Multiple Clearcoats (waxfree) Looks Better Than In Photos Interior Professionally Restored by Interior Guys of Richmond (original Porsche seats and carpet!) New Coverlay Custom Dash Cover Power Sunroof, Power Windows, Power Mirrors Known Issues: The passenger side power window switch fails intermittently but driver's side has switch for both windows so I never use it anyway. No Accidents - No ScratchesRust Inhibitor Applied Prior and Car Garaged Since I Have Had It (see photos)Please Compare Prices - I have seen others recently on eBay go for $7,5000 and more without interiors restored. We just got a new work vehicle in March (plus our cars and my motorcycle) and barely drive the Porsche anymore (about 25 miles each weekend for the last couple months). I'd rather sell it to someone who will use it more. This car was meant to be driven and is a BLAST to drive. This Car is Gorgeous - Must See! On May-13-12 at 14:03:32 PDT, seller added the following information: After receiving some very good questions I thought I would add some info to this listing. Here we go… To the best of my knowledge, this car is all original except for the new professional paint job I had done, which cost about $2,000 – and the aftermarket sound system which is AM/FM/CD with removable faceplate for security. Also added a custom molded dash cover during interior restoration. To keep it as original and pristine as possible I had the interior professionally restored. No seat covers were used. These are the original leather and fabric seats with the Porsche logo fabric. The original carpet is also in place. Everything has been professionally cleaned and detailed. It has very good Pirelli tires on original Porsche rims. I am told the Kelley Blue Book appraised value is Kelley Blue Book Value: $6025-$6425 without the cost of restoration. My goal was to have a trophy-worthy original Porsche with low miles. To that end I have invested approximately $9,200 including the original cost of the car ($5,600 last November). This car is a real head-turner and I am stopped in parking lots by people constantly asking questions. I have even had a few ask if they could have their photo taken standing beside it and more than one person urge me to put it in local classic car shows (at 25 years old it can be registered as antique). I know I will not get back the $9,200 I have invested but it was never about the money. This was a labor of love and a hobby. I restore classic motorcycles and wanted a Porsche. On May-13-12 at 14:08:13 PDT, seller added the following information: Any questions, please call Mike at 804-814-9107.
