Vehicle Detail

"Wow...That's the HOTTEST car I have ever seen!" "Oh my G-D, what IS that!? I have never seen one of those!" "Holy Sh*t...your car is AMMMAZING!" "Wow, can I PLEASE take a picture with your car?"...and that is just what the WOMEN have said! Of all the things guys have said to me, just the other day, a guy said, "You made my day, I am so lucky this car was here for me to see it when I walked by!" It really is just that impressive. Hear you see a VERY rare muscle car indeed. In any hobby or passion like car collecting, car showing, to really stand out, it takes something OTHER than the staple models you see everywhere. I am going to guess on your block, in your car club nor in your town, is there a Gran Torino quite like this one. Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE If you want something that is totally different but seems to capture the best of an era, you have chosen wisely my friend. Enter the 1971 FORD TORINO GT FASTBACK with HIDEAWAY HEADLIGHTS! This is a beautiful RARE muscle car that stands a part from the Mustang, the Camaro, the Chevelle or the GTO. The custom pearl paint job looks black but when the sun hits you see the blue pearl. The body work, as you can see from the images, is beautiful. $7500 cash got it done right. Custom interior looks amazing with faux crocodile skin seats, headliner and visors and Daytona leatherette dash looks fantastic. There is a very nice custom grant sports steering wheel that looks and feels just right, in leather and chrome. On paper the interior may sound tacky, in person it looks bad ass and totally appropriate. All new black carpet under new black mats. Trunk was carpeted too. $3500 was a steal for the full interior. The stock and unmolested 351 Cleveland and C4 trans are in check. 96K on the odometer, which is less than 2,400 miles a year. Previous owner stated both the engine and transmission were rebuilt, but had no receipts. Engine runs smooth. The engine compartment is bone stock with correct air cleaner, valve covers and has not been detailed in 41 years. I'll let you detail it probably. The front end was a worn out mechanically when I got it. The entire front end and power steering end were just completely rebuilt and aligned, about $2000 in parts alone at shop cost, retail would have been $3500 in parts and labor was a deal at $2000. New brakes and lines in the front, the rears checked out fine. The hideaway headlights, all gauges work, even the oil light. Pioneer stereo/ipod/iphone capable, aluminum custom exhaust with flowmasters and stainless tips, two point out in front of the rear wheels on both sides. Staggered FOOSE Nitrous wheels 20's on front 22's on back, BF Goodrich G-Force TA tires really set the car off. There are air shocks in the rear, so you can adjust the ride height out back. You may notice it at different heights in the pictures for this reason. This Gran Torino has had a lot of time and money put into it and when you consider a 1971 Torino GT Fastback with Hideaway Headlight option basically in need of restoration usually fetches $10K. This car is a bargain steal by any comparison. Yes, you can buy a ratty old Torino for less. Try finding one with hideaway headlights in presentable condition. I am moving so I need to liquidate some of my toys at a loss, but my loss is your gain!!! Donor car: $9,000 Rebuilt/new front end: $3,500 New brakes: $500 Electrical repairs: $500 Custom paint and body: $7,500 Custom interior: $3,500 Engine and trans rebuild: $3,500 Wheels and tires: $3,500Electrical upgrades, engine tune $500 4-pipe, custom turn out exhaust: $1000 Custom car cover and misc+++ $500 Stereo +$500 $34,000 And that doesn't even include all the man hours, headaches, stress, sweat equity and running around and waiting. As is, it is quite practical and can be driven and enjoyed. I drove it daily for about a month on my 3 mile commute, it always fires right up, warms up nicely and drives very smooth and straight for a 41 year old car. You could touch up the tiny scratches it got from actually being driven, the side mirror glass jiggles, I may end up doing these things before you get it. Not a big deal either way. Just being honest, its not a trailer queen. But it looks fantastic. The pictures do this car NO justice. It draws a LOT of attention, admiration and thumbs up. If you cannot handle the attention, this not the car for you. There is nothing better than rocking up to a car show knowing no one else is going to have a similar car there. You will be unique, you will stand out!!! And you can drive this car daily! The freeway gears allow for comfortable cruising over 80MPH without any issues at all. Sale includes one Ford Racing key ring, a key that works both the ignition and the door, a truck key, a gas cap key (cap is hidden behind the plate) and a custom car cover and carrying bag. If you are serious buyer with cash, I encourage you to come see it before you bid. No tire kickers or scammers or dreamers please. This car has not made the rounds to all the cruise nights, so you will be the MAN (or the WOMAN) who rolls in DEEP for the first time in this legendary unknown. I can assist in shipping worldwide, and recommend if you want this car, that you go immediately to uShip.com and get a quote in. Please contact me with questions, I am good about getting right back to you.Do not ask me what my reserve is. If you are a serious buyer who thinks he/she can close this auction early, then email me an offer. That is how that game is played here. Look at my feedback. I have sold a LOT of my personal cars and bikes on eBay and have maintained perfect feedback for over a decade. I am always accused of under-promising and over-delivering on my vehicles because I would rather you be pleasantly surprised. Bid just one more dollar than you want to, because no one would want to lose this car for a dollar! Thanks again for looking a PLEASE do not let this be the one that got away. GOOD LUCK!!!
