2003 Ford F-150 SVT Lightning Summary I am the original owner of the 2003 Lightning. This is one of the nicest Lightnings in the nation. There are zero door dings anywhere on this truck. The bumpers are near perfect (the front liscense plate is not mounted on the front, so there are no ugly holes in the front fascia). The wheels are in excellent shape and not all road rashed up. This truck has never been abused and adult owned. 1 of 723 Sonic Blue Lightnings produced in 2003. There are a few small rock chips in the hood and fenders and very small scratches around the door handles and elsewhere on the truck associated with the mileage but a few feet away they are NOT detectable and the truck still appears very "new". This truck has never been wrecked and is in original form from Ford sporting 77,405 miles. Modifications This truck is lowered 4" in the rear and 2" in the front. The rear has a wedge shape shim under the differential perch to keep correct pinion angle. The front has dropped lower control arms keeping the front spindles / suspension at the correct geometry. 16 psi of boost via lower pulley. Washable K&N style air filter Full Flowmaster stainless cat-back exhaust Tuned computer chip This truck puts down 450+ rwhp and is an absolute joy to drive. It has zero driveability issues. The transmission shifts perfect. All maintenance on this vehicle has always been performed on time. Fluids always changed and tune ups always done on time.
