For Sale: 1989 Toyota MR2 Supercharged. Dark Gray exterior, black cloth interior. 5-speed manual transmission 4-cylinder 4AGZE engine. 140,283 miles. Pre-DEI Astroflex Astrostart 2-way remote stater/alarm system (LED remotes) Two sets of wheels: The "triangle" wheels that are currently on the car, and a second set of the "teardrop" wheels that originally came on the car. Car is in excellent condition and runs well. Factory stock - NO MODIFICATIONS. I've recently rebuilt the suspension and brakes with many new components. Tokico struts, new suspension bushings, new rear sway bar. Rebuilt brake calipers, new rotors and pads, stainless steel brake lines. New oil pan. Sony XR-C90 AM/FM/Cassette radio with A/D/S amplifier. Engine has Castrol Syntec synthetic oil and Red Line MT-90 gear oil in the transmission. Does not overheat, no coolant leaks. Extra-loud Hella horns. It does have the following issues: Supercharger is consuming supercharger oil fairly rapidly, I am including a spare Supercharger with the car that I haven't had time to install. While they hold air, the tires are pretty much worn out and need to be replaced. A/C is inoperable. Based on the information I have, the system has been completely depressurized for at least seven or eight years and will likely need to be rebuilt to get it operating again. Slight oil leak from the vicinity of the distributor. The only reason it's still leaking is that it's small enough that I haven't been able to FIND where it's leaking. I hadn't driven this car for about a year, and last time I drove it noted that the clutch was slipping slightly. This might clear up on it's own once you polish the rust off the flywheel but I can't guarantee that. Minor rust issues in the left rear quarter. I have an entire clean/rust-free left rear quarter panel from another car that I am including which should give you the parts needed to fix it.
