1962 Oldsmobile Eighty-Eight

Hello, I got his 62 oldsmobile out of a barn. The guy I got it from said he parked it in the barn and never drove it again. He bought the car in 1964 and had it this whole time... so I think its a one ower.... He said the Tranny has been redone . when I got it home I looked at the motor to see that it looks to be redone too. I hooked a small gas tank to the carb to see if it ran. The car started right up and ran like a champ. the motor is a 394 . The motor and tranny seem to be in great shape. I did put it in drive but there is no brakes yet so I had to come to a stop really fast.. but it did kick right into gear and go when I jacked the back tires off the ground and tested it....you Prob. could drive the car if the brakes where working .....really the best part about this car is the motor and tranny ..but there our tons of really good parts //....the car is missing somethings...its missing the top, back bumper, and front headlights....other then that it seems to be all there ...the car does have some rust and some dents ....really you need to come look at it to see for yourself. I really like these old cars but I have to meny and the city wants me to get rid of a few .... So here you are.... you can email me but i'm really busy man so it might be hard to get a hold of me.... remember they dont' make oldsmobile anymore and these cars are classics ...I would like to see it go to someone who would fix it or use it to fix there project car.. This car is covered by a tarp and needs to be moved because a tarp isn't really all that good ... ..I will not scrap a classic car its worth more so i'm try'n to give someone a chance to save a classic...there will be a $350 down payment do at the end of auction ...car must be picked up with in two weeks or car will be resold no refunds on deposit.. .. thanks...
