2000 Honda Insight for project or parts. Car have been well care for. No accident. Exterior and interior in great shape. -264200 miles -Engine runs well. -Transmission does not downshift to 2nd gear, up shift no problem -May needs Battery pack -Battery module needs replacement -Squeaky noise from engine bay, possible from belt Can possibly replace transmission ($1000), fix squeaking noise and drive with no battery assist. Still gets 50 plus mpg.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Updates: -no dents or scratched..just a couple of small door dents. unnoticable from distance. i have to point it to you.-i am an engineer and no longer have desire to work on car due to increase family responsibility. that is why i am selling-car has been garage parked. l lost my garage space to stuffs that my wife wants to keep. but i keep it in shade as much as possible.-no paint peeling or fading. paint will still shine after wash-regular oil change ow-20 synthetic.-all windows are UV protected. light shade 20%. including windshield ($100 alone)-tires are in good shape-all brakes are in good shape. you will not need a brake job anytime soon. but if you need it is a easy job.-i have all electircal and body manual from Honda(price negotiable)-clutch is in good shape, no slipping-timing belt is chain. no need to replace.-spark plug wont need change until 300K-do not bid if you do not know how to work on car(bring someone along who does)-car has power window, climate control , A/C is cool.-battery pack is ok. still charges.
