Vehicle Detail
Up for grabs is my 1968 Mustang hardtop. The Marti Report is included in the pictures of the auction but the important details are seen below: Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE · Rebuilt seat frames · Restore front and rear glass · Full weatherstripping kit · Single stage Navajo Beige (original color) with door jambs & under-hood · Front driver and passenger seat belts, NOS · New instrument bezel, center dash trim, upper dash trim, right mirror · Recovered front and rear seats (high-quality components!) $1,600! · 90% of chrome is brand newAlso, the dash is a white-faced "indiglo" adjustable brightness unit that is much closer to modern cars than the classic. Please see the video! I have all of the receipts since 2003 after I began most of the major work that this Mustang has ever seen. I believe it to be one of the finest specimens of a California-only car on eBay for the price. When pricing this car, I have taken into consideration that it is no longer numbers-matching, being a T-code that now has a V8, and that it also has a non-spec. transmission. This may not be a Concourse restoration project, but it is a VERY STRONG driver that gets attention where-ever it goes. Please see all of the pictures and YouTube video links and don't hesitate to ask for more. Please e-mail me with ANY questions you may have regarding the car so that I can answer them. The car is located in ZIP 95207. Added May 3rd, 1740 hours:Some things that will need attention in the near future to be 100% perfect:1. The speedometer reads off, most likely because of the gearing change to 3.52:12. The right rear axle seal is showing signs of leaking3. The stereo occasionally turns itself off. I never had it investigated because I prefer to listen to the beautiful exhaust note as I drive, and with one listen, you will too!4. Despite a cowl fix, the cowl does sometimes still leak a bit in heavy rain / direct spray with washing.
