Up for sale with a low reserve is a beautiful example of a 1955 Oval Window Beetle. This car is restored to original, showroom condition. Body work and paint completed approx 5 years ago and has been garage stored since. The interior was completed 2 years ago, professionally installed to original specs. Mechanically excellent. Stock 36 hp engine was rebuilt and has very few miles on it. Everything on the car works with the exception of the radio which has not been tested or hooked up. The steering wheel will need to be restored. Overall the body, wheels (rims), interior and floors are in excellent condition. Absolutely no rust, originally a California car. The rubber was replaced on all windows (with the chrome molding) when the interior was installed, engine and trunk compartments. The rockers and heater channels are solid. The bumpers are in good condition. The car was just tuned up, new brakes; brake lines and wheel cylinder were just installed. The valves were adjusted and the oil changed in preparation for its new owner.
