Vehicle Detail

What we have here is a very unique car. Why spend the money to pay big bucks for a 65 SS Chevelle GTO or 442 of the same years when you can buy this very unique 2 Door Post 1965 Buick Skylark with a new 350 Small Block Chevy in it? It has new headers, new exhaust, HEI ignition, a Holley Carburetor, a pump gas friendly motor, with a flat top set of pistons with 9:1 compression. The car originally came with the 300 V8 Buick motor in it and a 2 Speed automatic transmission, which can also go to the highest bidder, if they can pick it up locally. It does have a BNF floor shifter, and this car does use power drum breaks. The radiator does have an electric fan. For all you other people asking me if you can drive it up to Nome, Alaska, you can! It starts and drives perfectly and it has freeway gears in the rear. It cruises along at 2500 RPM quite nicely. The Iroc wheels are wrapped in BFG Touring TAs 215/60/15s. The car goes down the road straight as an arrow. It has a brand new windshield. It was originally a factory A/C car, but it's not hooked up. This car has been kept indoors most of its life. The interior is pretty much factory original. The headliner is in awesome shape, as are the seats, although they do have a few blemishes in them, and the dash does have a few cracks in it. The original AM radio still works well, and it still has the original carpet in it as far as I can tell. This is 47 year old car, and I do not have X ray vision, so I can't tell you what the original body on this car is. It has some waves here and there, but it doesn't look like it's been in any major accidents. The floors look to be totally solid and rust free and the rear trunk floor was coated with Por15 rust resistant coating. I do have a trunk floormat coming for this car that I did not receive yet, it will go with it. This car is good to go , you can drive it wherever you want. The door glasses go up and down, and all the cranks and handles work. The trim all around is nice and bright. It has current registration on it, and if you're overseas, there's no safety issues with this car. You can take it to any European port that you want. This car is pretty much complete, the only thing that I can see is missing is the antennae bezel. But overall, this car starts, drives, runs quiet, and goes straight down the road with no handling issues, and it is ready for a new home. This is a very solid California car. So for all you Rat Rod guys, you can run it flat black as it is, and the show and shine types can give it a quick sanddown, and paint it any color they want. The current paint is 3 coats of PPG Urethane Hot Rod black. If you have any questions, send me a message. I'll trade numbers with you and we can talk it out.
