1979 FJ40 Landcruiser for sale. It's been around 500 miles since restoration, new front and rear turn signals, emblems, door weather stripping, door panels ect... rig is painted in Toyota Rustic Green 621. Speedometer reads 89,300 miles but has not worked since the gauge cluster was refurbed during the restoration 500 miles ago. Hoonanianarmen from here on ebay said he could easily repair the cluster but won't be back till summer. I put the mileage honestly under 90,000 miles. Engine is super strong, with no problems at all. Motor was desmogged but I have everything to resmog it if that is what your state requires. Trans shifts smooth and transfer case engages perfectly. New exhaust, new red top battery. This truck will run forever, I have no questions about driving this across the country. I'll pick you up from the airport is you want to drive it home, hell I'll cook you dinner first. This is a 1979, so it has the square bezel (right side up for the bezel police;) with factory power steering, sorry no AC. It also has the larger 22.4 gallon gas tank located underneath the vehicle instead of the 16 gallon tank sloshing around under the passenger seat. Also has the better highway 3.7 gears so you can go over 60 on the highway and your mileage will be better also for when gas goes to 10 bucks a gallon. Everything works with the exception of the speedometer and the washer nozzles, I will look into fixing that before the end of the sale. Aftermarket stereo that didn't butcher the wiring harness to work, you can plug your Ipod, Iphone, Iwhatever into it or just listen to the radio. Actually wiring harness is in excellent condition. Overhead shelf from CCOT with speaker mounted there so no big holes in the door panels. Tuffy lockable center counsel, to keep your valuables. Pristine fiberglass top with no holes, rusted gutters or the like. Four almost new Yokohama Geolanders 31X10.5R15s mounted to perfect aluminum alloy rims. ARB front bumper, fully adjustable Corbeau LG1 bucket seats in the front, also have the original buckets in very good condition (see photos). Also have a bikini top, so you can have the top off so your hair can blow (sorry horrible Vanilla Ice refrence/joke). I'm sure I'm forgetting something so feel free to email me, also if you need other pictures let me know. I don't mind crawling underneath on top or whatever so you can see what your getting. The FJ40 is sold as is and has no warranty. I hate bidding on stuff with secret reserves so I'm just starting my auction out with the bottom line I would like to get out of it.
