This auction is for the trade or sale of a 1965 Dodge D-100 Truck; NADA high blue book value in excellent condition is 18k plus. In a trade, I will take most late 50’s to early 70’s cars; project cars not complete are acceptable as long most of the parts come with the car. I prefer early Chevy, Mustang fastbacks, Mopars; just tell me what you have. So, if you’re hung up on a restoration project, funds just aren’t there anymore or some other situation forces a trade, then this turn-key truck can be yours. I have my own car hauler so doing a pickup/exchange can be worked into the deal; any shipping not negotiated is the responsibility of the buyer; I will assist as requested. I reserve the right to end the auction at anytime that I have the right offer. I’ve owned the vehicle since 1997 and it was purchased in Anaheim CA; I actually drove it from CA to Washington DC and it sat in storage until late 2010. The engine is a 318 Poly, manual 3 speed shift on the column or tree and non positive traction rear. Since rebuild: 4,000 Miles on current engine and clutch; upgrades: aluminum intake, elderbrock 525 carb, and pointless ignition, and the cam is stock Front end (straight axle) completely rebuilt to include new steering box and leaf springs All shocks new and steering stabilizer Brakes replaced to include slaves at wheels Clutch and Brake reservoir new New seats, carpet and other interior Gas tank flushed, new sending unit CD player, with speaker upgrade All lights, signals work, new tachometer Door seals replaced New Radiator, electric fan and engine oil cooler New custom dual turbo muffler exhaust New Goodyear tires Replacement Centerline wheels 15x10 rear, 15x8 front All gages work, gas gage replacement works in half range, all others full range. The paint Black Cherry bottom, Gray Metallic top was applied in NOV 2011 approximately, it’s been garaged since (we were in the middle of a move). I’d rate the paint as a 7.7 out 10 because there are a couple orange peel spots and the body work wasn’t perfect, but as you can see “looks great”. Also, I added the small scoop up front and cut the pressed vents in the hood to be functional, as well as adding the custom exhaust side ports and interior gas tank cover. Bottom-line runs drives like new, clear title and is ready to go. This vehicle is being sold AS-IS with no other warranties implied; vehicle inspections are welcomed or can be arranged at your cost.
