YOUR SUMMER RIDE IS HERE! Up for bid is a 1970 VOLKSWAGEN KARMANN GHIA convertible in great shape. Not a show car but a very solid driver. It features a 1600cc 4-cylinder engine, 4-speed manual transmission, custom wood-grain leather interior, and am/fm stereo. Mechanically features dual exhaust, rebuilt carburetor, total engine tune-up with new wires & spark plugs, new battery, and fresh oil change. Body is rust free with some scattered dings, scratches, and a few paint chips but it shows very well as the pics illustrate. The undercarriage is also rust free and the only damage I am aware of is a small 1" hole in the rear right passenger floor pan which is an easy fix. The rocker panels are also solid. The convertible roof is in good shape(needs a good cleaning) with no rips or tears and has a hardglass rear window. Interior has normal wear for its vintage and could also use a good cleaning. Just recently had this vehicle inspected completely by a mechanic and the powertrain is sound with no apparent mechanical issues. If you have any other questions please email me.
