Vehicle Description Vehicle purchased from All American Hot Rods in Orange County in 2007. Below is their vehicle description: 1929 Ford model A roadster TURN KEY * DAILY DRIVER * FAST AND LOUD -This is a sport coupe body cut down into a roadster. The handles were shaved, the doors capped and welded shut and has a 3" channel over the frame -The frame is a All American Hotrod 2x3 .188 wall tubing frame with a suicide front perch -The front end is a 32 commercial axle with split wish bones, and the spring hung between them to get the car in the low stance that it has. The spindles and brakes are 1940 hydraulic -The rear end is a Chevy 10 bolt out of a caprice, with a 3.08 open ratio. The suspension is a 40 front spring hung buggy style, with model a front radius rods hung under the rear end. -The rims are 16" spokes, powder coated Red Barron Red, and are wrapped in Firestone wide whites -The engine is a 307" sbc completely rebuilt with a hot custom ground cam, an Edelbrock EPS intake, and an Edelbrock 600cfm carb. All the components on the engine are new as well. Comes with 3 sets of headers, including custom built lake style. The transmission is a turbo 350 which is also rebuilt. All put together with a new driveline. -The steering is a 1940 ford steering box with a push pull style arm. -Cooling is through a Mustang V8 radiator backed with an electric fan, and a 180 degree thermostat. Runs great -Extras on this ride include a Genie shifter, red bullet L.E.D.s to light up for lights and fan, gauges and lights, aircraft style center console, folding seat, trunk space!! 12gal spun aluminum fuel tank, real laminated auto glass in windshield!! -All brakes on this car from front to bake including lines, lining, master cylinder, and even the pedal assembly are brand new. All bushing, shackles, and tie rods in suspension and steering are brand new. And all hard ware used on the rod is brand new as well. Everything to make this car run is new and well thought out. -Rod has been shot for a couple magazines including ol skool rodz and car kulture delux, as well as professional model photo shoots. It was also in a trailer for a movie called Devils Night. Car is very popular, fast and definitely dependable. The car has been maintained and front brake cylinders upgraded and new pads installed, along with some other minor changes. The photos were taken this month, and is as pictured.
