The car also has very attractive and well maintained wood paneling on the dashboard. Overall this car is in very acceptable condition. This is not a show car it is a perfect driver. This car is easy to drive and and comes with the best designed one-handed convertible top ever made. (A new Tourneau cover is included too). The body is in good condition with minimal rust. Paint and chrome are presentable all around. The interior appears to be original so is showing some wear. This ’74 was not weighed down by DOT regulations … no rubber bumpers, just the "classic" chrome (we have the chrome front bumper). The mechanics are in good working order. This ‘74 comes with a jewel-like five speed close ration gearbox synchronized in all five forward gears. The 1,756cc engine is strong with a “singing” twin-cam engine and a real carburetor. All gauges and lights are in working order. The 4-wheel disc brakes are up to the task. So, if spirited driving is your desire this summer or fall, you'd be hard-pressed to find a car with as nimble handling at this price.
