Vehicle Detail
70,392 original Miles, one family two owner car. Factory Air conditioning, and Radio Delete, are the only options on this car. I removed gas tank and had it cleaned and coated, cleaned fuel lines, rebuilt carburetor, rebuilt brakes which included, new wheel cylinders, new master cylinder, brake shoes and drums turned. I replaced the points, plugs and condenser and spark plug wires. Everything works on the car, except the air does not blow cold, I expect a freon or similar refrigerant charge would fix that. The car also has the factory blue tinted glass all the way around which includes the Chrysler Logo. All the Glass is perfect. The car has the 318 Poly engine with 3 speed torqueflite trans, the engine has good compression, but smokes on startup. I think new valve guides would fix this!!!!!!!! I was going to build a stroker high horse poly motor, but I have a hemi project that I would like to complete. I have a nice set of two door sedan doors, and a two four intake for a poly motor. Speed-o-motive makes a 412 cu in stroker kit, TTI makes a set of full length headers that fit this car, most any high performance machine shop can make the polyspherical combustion chamber heads perform great, high performance camshafts, ignition, and dress-up-items are also available to make this combo produce 500+ horsepower, and look good doing it. This would make a great alternative to a Max-Wedge car, as the Max Wedges have been overdone. The stroker kit costs 1995.00, the headers cost 750.00, doing some of the work yourself, I feel that a 500 to 550 horse poly engine could be built for around 6500.00. This car rides and drives great, no slack in the steering, good response and good braking. Pushbutton transmission shifts great, with no slack or noise. Of all the Mopar cars that I have had or seen, this is the only one that I have seen that still has the factory rubber tie rod protection boots with the Chrysler logo on the boots. The car still has some of the factory markings and tags in their respective location. any questions give me a call at 903-244-5329, Paul.
